Ruins Villa

Our host Upali was was extremely interesting and hospitable. The house was in the middle of the jungle, but only 10 minutes by bike from the center.

Sehr freundliche Familie. Gutes Frühstück und Abendessen. Ich wurde vom Familienvater mit dem Tuk Tuk vom Bus abgeholt und gebracht. Sehr gute Lage zu den Ruinen. Fahrräder können ausgeliehen werden. Schön im Grünen und ruhig. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Les délicieux repas et l'accueil de notre hôte qui en plus est venu nous chercher à la gare. Le lieu : très calme et proche de Pollannaruwa à visiter. C'était parfait pour se reposer car nous arrivions de l'aéroport !

Naprosto všechno 🤩🤩🤩. Neřeším horko, protože to je všude a neřeším komáry, protože ti jsou taky všude 😂. Postel má síť, takže SUPER a ventilátor mi stačí. Pan Upali je úžasný, milý, vstřícný a poctivý člověk a jeho paní fantasticky vaří 😍.... navíc poradí se vším. Byl jsem naprosto a se vším spokojený.... tisíc hvězdiček ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Large modern room in a tranquil garden setting. Very nice food and generous portions

A little far from the entrance to the ruins but the owner is very helpful with arranging transport and also hires bicycles

L’hôte était extraordinairement gentil! Il est venu me chercher à la gare et m’a re déposé à l’arrêt de bus. Je suis arrivée tard il m’a fait à manger quand même. La nourriture est fait maison et c’est toujours très bon. Nous avons même fait une petite marche le soir pour aller voir des animaux (cerfs, mangoustes, singes etc)

La wifi bug un peu, mais les singes cassent les lignes régulièrement donc pas grand chose à faire la dessus…

Upali è semplicemente fantastico. È un piacere stare in sua compagnia a chiacchierare, è gentilissimo e ci ha accompagnato da/all autobus sia all arrivo che alla partenza. Abbiamo affittato da lui delle bici a un prezzo ragionevole per visitare la città antica, che si trova a due passi dall alloggio. Camera e bagno grandi e puliti. L alloggio è immerso nel verde e nella natura. Upali la sera ci ha portato a fare una passeggiata per vedere gli animali. Buona la cena!

We loved our stay here. The host is super friendly, calm and helpful. They have bikes you can hire for a small amount and the ruins/sacred city is only a short cycle away. The host serves up delicious food and even takes you on a night wildlife walk. Highly recommend.

Notre hôte nous a accueilli chaleureusement.il nous a conseillé un site super chouette, temple bouddhiste en haut d'une petite montagne à Dimbulagala. Il a un stock de vélos en bon état. La guesthouse est ultra propre, dans un écrin de verdure au calme, limitrophe du parc archéologique. Petit dèj et riz&curry délicieux préparés par sa femme. Toujours plein d'attentions . Merci pour cette belle étape. Nous recommandons vivement

Rien, tout était parfait

Pěkné a pohodlné ubytování se zahradou. Je tu možnost si půjčit za 800 rupii kolo. Majitel pro nás po zavolani zadarmo přijel na autobusovou zastávku a na konci pobytu nás odvezl na autobusové nádraží .

Většinu pobytu nefungovala WiFi. A je tu i problém s operátorem Dialog. Takže jsme tu byly tak nějak bez internetu. Tohle ubytování jsem vybral protože je hned vedle starého města. Problém je v tom že pokud se chcete dostat do starého města tak musíte stejně do muzea pro vstupenky a muzeum je v novém městě cca 3 km od obytovani.
