Ruins Villa

Very clean place with AC near the exit gate of the ancient city. Bikes for rent and the owner made us a delicious Sri Lankan vegan meal! The only thing that could be improved is WiFi speed and the size of the towels as they were very small. Make sure to bring insect repellent as there’s a ton of mosquitos in the area.

Upali est un hôtel extraordinaire, à l’écoute des clients et désireux de partager son amour pour la nature et la faune sauvage environnante! un vrai coup de cœur pour cet endroit paradisiaque, de douceur et connection avec la nature! situé à une des sorties du site de visite donc très facile d’accès, je recommande vivement! la nourriture est excellente, fraîche, peu pimentée pour les palais délicats …de supers échanges et une vraie envie de revenir séjourner auprès de cette jolie famille et de leur lieu…chambre impeccable

Der Hotelier war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, hat für uns sogar Cola gekauft. Es war schön ruhig und mitten in der Natur gelegen. Sehr gut zum Entspannen geeignet. Wir hatten die Möglichkeit, Fahrräder zu leihen und mit denen ins Museum zu fahren. Das Abendessen und das Frühstück waren sehr lecker und ausgiebig.

In unserem Badezimmer war leider Schimmel, für eine Nacht okay, aber auf Dauer wahrscheinlich gesundheitlich bedenklich.

Excellent accueil sympathique et attentif

We had a great stay at Ruins Villa, right by the ancient city so that’s great. We had a nice breakfast and dinner cooked by our hosts who were very friendly and accommodating.

Ruins villa is a great relaxing place. The host is really nice, the house is in the middle of nature and at the same time really close to the cultural site. You rent bikes to visit around. The food is really good.
