Very high up with amazing views !

The steps down to the town were a bit challenging ( we are in our 60’s). We later found that although the road was longer it would be easier.

The hosts were very kind and helpful, and the outdoor area where you could relax and have breakfast had lovely views over to Ella Rock and the mountains. It was peaceful, quiet and truly up and away from the hub of Ella town.

The room unfortunately was damp, musty and smelt of mould. It made our dry clothes damp inside the room. Air conditioner or fan may have helped.

The hosts were amazing and very helpful whenever I needed anything. The room was a great size and kept clean. The food was also great and the views were an amazing bonus.

The views are stunning, it’s a twenty minute hike out of the town, so you will need to be fit to walk it or taxi,bike of tuk tuk. The owner rented a bike to us which made transport easy. It’s serene and the sunrise is beautiful, you’re up in the clouds. Bed is comfy, shower is warmish. Top tip, on a hot day, go for a swim at the Mountain Heavens hotel 🤌

Bit musky and drab

lovely comfortable and clean room with beautiful views. Set in among nature; in a very peaceful area. The family takes great care of you to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Breakfast is fantastic and I also had dinner there a couple of nights too; is the best Sri Lankan food I've tasted on my travels here; a great cook ! Well worth a stay here!

Saman and his family are taking really good care of their guest! I rented their scooter and couldn’t find the proper way and saman got on the scooter with me and drove me from where it was very clear how to go! Other than that the terrace is absolutely loving and the breakfast is amazing !!! Also the cooked Curry in the evening was absolutely delicious!! I really enjoyed staying with them and would definitely come back!

It’s actually really far out of town but very quite and up in the mountains! I didn’t have a problem to walk the last bits from the stairs but could be a problem for people!

Sunrise view is stunning and the owners are soooo kind and nice! Room and bathroom were very clean and spacious Breakfast and dinner are tasty and huge 😁

Its on the top the hill, 20 minutes walk from the village, not the best if you want to go out at night

The hosts were very kind and accommodating, you can tell they really care about their guest experience. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and the views are unmatched. I feel so lucky to have stayed here. I will recommend this accommodation to everyone.
