Everything is fantastic 🥰 lovely family and they are really helpful always ! Also the lady of the hotel can cook very delicious food. Highly recommend for all visit there for your holiday ❤️

This is probably the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka. Incredible views, perfect service, and a large, comfortable, and beautiful room. The family here make you feel at home and the food is incredible! We ate both breakfast and dinner here every night and was amazed each time. The room itself is cleaned to a high standard and is far superior to other rooms we’ve had at the same price. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Despite I have stated at Sun View Resort only for two nights, it has absolutely become one of the highlights and best memories of the whole trip in Sri Lanka. Sun View Resort is set in a quiet and incredibly green area just on the hills around Ella. The room is gigantic, equipped with everything you may need (fan, hair drier, all kinds of power plugs, and many other details that show the care and attention of this family for their guests), super clean and with very comfortable beds. The room also has a patio/balcony, from where you can enjoy the intimacy of the sunrise, start your day in the best way with the delicious and lovingly prepared breakfast surrounded by nature and animals, and relax at night lulled by the sound of the forest. Although already said, breakfast is absolutely amazing: plentiful, wholesome, carefully prepared delicious, there's no better way to start off your day. As the the property is a little bit off the main streets, and perfect to escape the chaos of Ella, the family offers the possibility to additionally request for laundry, transportation, and dinner at the property. Finally, but not for importance, I would really like to thank this amazing family. They really are among the most gentle, caring and kind human beings I have met over the whole trip to Srilanka. They were discretely present throughout all my stay and making sure I was feeling welcome and safe, with however never be pressuring in any possible way. They invited me to enjoy sunrise from their terrace and left a light on the first night so that I could better find the property. They made me feel like home from the first time, and could not be grateful enough for it. If coming back to Ella, I would absolutely visit this family again - warmly recommended.

Very nice family. Very nice room and balcony. Very scrumptious breakfast. The family helps you with everything. The most beautiful place I have ever stayed in Sri Lanka. When you visit Ella, you should definitely meet this beautiful family and stay in this beautiful place. By the way, it is very pleasant to have a bottle of wine on the balcony in the evening. Because the balcony view is really beautiful.

It is excellent place to stay. Stunning view from top of the mountain to all valley. Full private place, nice terrace, perfect bathroom! Very nice breakfast and dinner. Very friendly family that runs the place. This is a place where I will be back every time I will be in Sri Lanka.

Amazing!!! Beautiful location and a beautiful, kind family. This place exceeded our expectations. The view from our room was exceptional it took my breath away. The family are so kind and attentive; we arrived late and they brought us tea and flowers. The husband helped our driver back down the track to find accommodation and were so kind. The breakfast was so tasty, especially the homemade Rotti and Sambal. The evening curry is super tasty too. We wish we could have stayed longer. Our daughter cried when we left as she had enjoyed our stay with the family so much, their daughter and my children played together. You must wake up and watch sunrise from the balcony, its beautiful.

amazing view over Ella. Hosts are incredibly kind and accommodating. Breakfast was superb. although it’s a small hike from Ella, totally worth it to see the sunrise from your window 10/10
