GOOD STORY at NIRBANA ISLAND

Lovely property... We really enjoyed our stay and had a peaceful holiday...

Pretty scenery around and at the hotel. Very good management, trying to help with everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Long waiting time /about 30 minutes/ if you call taxi to pick up. But you may use local tuk-tuk, if don’t want to wait

Location: 7 minutes away uphill from beach road by tuk tuk (available around the clock at the hotel’s entrance). Tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood. General look & feel: modern design blends nicely into the surrounding trees and man made lake, giving it a feeling of seclusion and tranquility. Also a swimming pool in the middle that can be used at any time with pool bar. Room: we checked in room 12 (one of 12 rooms, but one of 2 only rooms on the 1st floor while the remaining 10 rooms are located on ground floor. Room 12 comes with a balcony, facing the pool side). The room is spacious, the bathroom is quite nice, especially the shower. Very modern and minimalistic with stone feel. Staff: friendly and smiley, helpful and tentative. Breakfast: room comes with breakfast included (one choice of meal and one choice of hot drink from the menu. Extra items will be chargeable).

Occasionally noisy: if you stay on the 1st floor (rooms 11 and 12), there is a possibility for loud noise form the sport/workout area adjacent to the rooms of you are unlucky that day. We struggled to take a nap in the after noon of one day only as someone was doing boxing for 2 hours. Kind of takes away the charm of the quiet place in general. Chargeable extra coffee: the 2nd cup of coffee for breakfast is chargeable. Check in: while check in was smooth and easy, we weren’t given the facility tour we were promised with to explain the area and facilities.

Beautiful interior decor and finish. We stayed at multiple properties during stay : The Kip, Kara House, and Fort Printers, plus Good Story. We liked this very much in terms of design and finish.

Food was really poor. Service mixed. Majority Russian guests were think so that may have explained.
