GOOD STORY at NIRBANA ISLAND

Beautiful location in the middle of the jungle. Everything was clean, the room was big and very comfortable.

A little bit uncomfortable to reach the centre of Ahangama. Really expensive meals compared with what they offered and average country prices (we spent 45$ for 1 breakfast and 1 dinner). We also have problems with Wi-Fi and hot shower, they really doesn’t work at all.

Food was tasteless, they didn't clean the room once in 5 days even though we asked

1. Incredible design of the hotel. Evey corner is so beautiful. 2. Personnel is very kind and helpful. Special thanks for Saumi and her husband, they were very kind, played with our little son everyday.

1. Stayed 4 nights, but the room was not cleaned even a single time. 2. The boat trip was boring, doesn't worth 10000 rupees.

We absolutely loved it, and ended up extending our stay. It is an Oasis a 5-10 min moped ride from the Main Street. Felt very luxurious and we were well looked after by the very friendly Sri Lankan staff and Eggplant the dog. The property looks out onto the river which we took a canoe out on guided by a local man, which can be arranged through the hotel. Food and drink was delicious, best tea I had in Sri Lanka

A couple more or changing breakfast options would have been great if we’d been staying longer, but the ones we had were very tasty and fine for the number of nights we stayed.

The room and the property was beautiful and so peaceful. Loved it. Staff are really friendly and very accommodating.

Felt the breakfast options to be more refined and to be served separately as opposed to aesthetically representing it. . ( I. E. I ordered the banana pancakes and I'm allergic to yogurt etc.. so I wish it was served separately) No sign boards on the road made it a bit difficult to figure out the location.

This place is a paradise. The staff is super friendly and very attentive to customer's needs. The rooms are big, and the bed are very comfortable. Everything was perfect.
