Lonely Beach Resort Tangalle

The best location you can have! Perfect place to have peace and quite, walk on the beach explore nature. Very nice staff always available to help or make a nice pot of coffee. Very nice breakfast. Kayaks available to explore the Rekawa lagoon. Walking distance from Wildlife Turtle where you can have a magic experience walking at night on the beach to see turtles. Plenty of restaurants on walking distance. We recommend the Shell Point restaurant.

I was there on the low season, having the beach right in front of my doorsteps all for me. :) Quiet, romantic place with lagoon and beach . The room is exactly what one needs to stay in front of the beach. No AC but a very good fan.

No restaurant service, but there was one close by.

Amazing location, very quiet and right next to the beach! The terrace of our room was fantastic. Friendly familiar staff, good breakfast, and very reasonably priced. The facilities are rather basic, but we considered this as a positive aspect: it's very pure and you feel very connected with the beach and the ocean. We were planning to stay 4 nights but stayed for more than a week. In the surroundings, there are beautiful beaches, a few amazing restaurants (some right on the beach, 5min walk) who serve delicious fish. You can rent a scooter from the owner and drive around the coast, we did day trips to Hiriketiya and Mulgirigala.

Fantastic location under palm trees, next to the lagune and the wide, sandy beach.

Only minus is that it’s to dangerous to swim in the see.

The mattress was WAY too hard. Neither of us could sleep. We ended up checking out 1 day early because of it, with no refund offered
