Niwahana Transit City Hotel

- Great location, near the airport, perfect for a stay before or after a flight. - Spacious, clean room, with comfortable bed, good working A/C and Wi-Fi. - I must mention specifically the bathroom which was FULLY equipped with ALL the needed amenities (soap, shampoo, bath gel, conditioner, toothbrush, etc) and it was the ONLY place of all we stayed in Sri Lanka which provided these - not even at a 4-star hotel one can find all these. - The owner is a very kind and helpful gentleman who arranged our pick-up from the airport, welcomed us with fresh watermelon juice. The following day, due to a late departure of our flight, we were lucky to have a nice tour to Negombo, its sights and the fish market, perfectly arranged by him, before we were transferred to the airport. - It must be noted that just opposite the hotel there is a good restaurant open until 23:00 which can be very helpful if you have a late flight arrival. - All in all, one of our best home-stays, highly recommended to everyone.

We had an amazing stay! The owner was incredibly nice and patient, picking us up from the airport in the middle of the night and waiting patiently while we got SIM cards first. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the room was spotless, spacious, and very well equipped. The Wi-Fi was excellent too. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable and welcoming stay! We felt very welcomed. The room provides everything you need and has a very comfortable bed. The hosts are very friendly. They even offered us an airport-transport in the middle of the night for very little money. If we could we would have stayed longer - definately recommend it. An excellent place to prepare for my flight back to Australia! Spacious room with hot water, impeccable clean rooms with a large , comfortable bed, seating area, air conditioning and balcony! Mini bar with drinks and free water! Exceptional welcoming, caring staff!!!! A perfect place to relax, contemplate and close to the airport, this accommodation is highly recommended for a relaxing transition to start my journey back home!
