USRiva was great. Michel was really nice and very helpful when it came to organizing activities. Oh, and the breakfast! Simple but excellent!
AUEasy to reach by water taxi from Colon, the main island. Close to restaurants, bars on the beach and not to busy or noisy even with the spring-breaker at Colon when we stayed. Happy hour at Bibi’s is very chillaxing. Breakfast is very nice on the deck in the morning right on the water
I had really bad experiences with the sandflies there .. and we didn’t even bother to lay on the beach or anything like that .. I had Bushman cream 80 deets on me (probably the strongest on the planet) plus other sprays didn’t worked .. very itchy for a loong time and took antihistamine later on to get little relief ..
GBThe location is fabulous, the property is on stilts over the water. Our room was excellent with a balcony. You can swim and snorkel straight off of the jetty. Quieter than the main town but only $1 taxi ride across to town. Michel the host is super helpful and cooks a great breakfast. He'll even do a load of washing over night for $10.
The weather ha ha. We got a lot of rain for our stay but can't blame Michel for that!

EELocation. Close to all, but not noisy like the main island. Water taxi quick and easy in front of the place. Host was really friendly and made the stay nice. He really compensated for the downsides.
We stayed on the 2nd floor suite that has 2 bedrooms and private bathroom, but living room is for the cat and 3rd living area for the host. So you stay in the same place in a way. Cat was peeing in the room after fighting with another cat on the first night (as we forgot the living room door open) and it smelled for all 7 days we were there. Toilet seat was broken so you had to balance your weight. It has a private balcony with a bed and sitting area, but to see the fantastic view to the ocean and main island, you should stand up. We still managed to see the giant cockroach on the balcony that lives only in this area of the world. None indoors however. Host warned us about them from the beginning and asked not to have any food in the rooms. So we didn't. All in all, 2k euro for 7 days is a bit too much for this place. Without the nice host Michel this rating would have been lower.
