Dolcissimi Mario e Julia, ci hanno preparato la cena e accolto con calore

Das Haus der Familie Julia und Mario liegt sehr nahe an der zentralen Plaza. Die Zimmer und die Gemeinschaftsbäder sind sehr sauber und die Dusche heiss. Zum Abendessen gab es vegetarisches Essen, sehr lecker, zum Frühstück Pfannkuchen mit Marmelade. Wir entschieden uns vor unserer Abreise auch noch dort für ein sehr gutes Essen mit Forelle (Auf der Insel sind die Restaurants nämlich durch Tagesgruppen belegt und man muss sich als Individualtourist hinten anstellen.) Nachts wird es auf der Insel sehr kalt bei 4000m Höhe, also warme Kleidung mitbringen. Genügend Bargeld ( Sol) für Hotel und Essen mitbringen. Wenn man möchten, kann man bei Mario und Julia was Selbstgestricktes oder Gewebtes kaufen. Sie machen dazu eine kleine Einführung über das Kunsthandwerk und freuen sich natürlich, wenn was gefällt.

Mario et Juliana nous ont très bien accueilli, ils sont très gentils et aiment discuter. Nous avons passé des bons moments ensemble lors des dîners. La chambre est propre et lumineuse, le petit-déjeuner est copieux. Très bon séjour

Avant tout les hôtes eux mêmes, Mario et Julia vous partagent leur vie et leurs traditions. Mario nous a fait visiter l’île et Julia nous a montré l’art du tissage, des gens simples et authentiques. Nous avons pu profiter de leur excellente cuisine locale (soupe au quinoa et truites à la plancha), et le petit déjeuner compris est délicieux. Réserver chez eux c’est avant tout une expérience humaine hors du temps . La chambre était très confortable , comprenant WC et douche chaude!!

La estadía en la casa de Mario y Julia fue una experiencia hermosa. Fueron muy atentos y simpáticos, además de explicarnos sus tradiciones y compartir con nosotros. La casa es muy cómoda y acogedora.

Visiting Tequile Island is such a unique experience! Hosts Mario and Julia were very warm and welcoming. We stayed 3 nights with them and shared breakfast and dinner. I wish we spoke Spanish but we all did our best with limited English and the translate app. Tequile is not a luxury island -- it's cold at night and homes have limited solar electricity, so very simple lighting and no heat (no wifi and spotty cell service). There are lots of blankets, but with the high altitude, think about wearing socks & warm clothes to bed. We had the family room with a bathroom, which was great because there was a big storm one night and it would not have been fun to visit the general bathroom. Mario and Julia are amazing craftspeople and it was an honor to look at their textiles and to purchase a few to bring home. Their house is near the square so it's easy to head over there for a mid morning cappuccino. It's also centrally located so you can easily walk to the beaches on one side and the mountain on the other. We were there off season so it was very quiet, which was lovely.

Une super expérience qui nous a permis de passer plus de temps sur l'île, de l'explorer librement et de profiter du calme. Mario et Julia ont été de merveilleux hôtes. Ils nous ont fait découvrir leur vie sur l'île, et nous ont régalés de leurs plats.
