"Excellent!"

10.0

Everything was great. The room, the terrace, the garden, the sea view, the breakfast, our hosts…

Positano has stairs everywhere. Luckily they helped us with our luggage.

"The most relaxing stay in all of Italy!"

9.0

The view is spectacular! The mother-daughter team, Rosetta and Federica are the most amazing hostesses. This is a bed and breakfast not an AirB&B. The breakfast were AMAZING!

Nothing not to like. It was amazing. Be aware there are over 200+ stairs to and from. Perfect after a late night meal to work off those extra calories.

The apartment was beautiful and spacious and the deck was something from a movie. The hosts and their little dog chico were the absolute best hosts we've ever had. So helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

"Beautiful state in Positano, with a wonderful B&B, best breakfast in Positano!"

10.0

Spectacular view, very kind hosts.

A lot of steps up, they weren’t really prepared for the climb up to the unit from the main street. However, once you get up, the view is worth it.

"Breathtaking views and perfect hosts!"

10.0

One of the most incredible views in Positano, so know that means you will walk up, up and up to get there. For us, incredibly worth it, but make sure the walk is right for you. Frederica and Rosetta are the perfect hosts, the room is beautifully appointed and the large patio (shared with the one other room) has an awe inspiring view to take in the sunrise, sunset and every time in between. We can’t wait to return to this ideal location.

We loved everything!

"I would book again :)"

10.0

We had the best view, you get to see the cliff side and all of Positano, perfect view of all the beaches, especially Fornillo Beach. The hosts were SO helpful and nice, they made our lives so much easier by booking the porters and private driver for us. They have a beautiful garden, terrace, and balcony. Try their breakfast it’s delicious especially their homemade jams, I had to buy some after. Thank you Federica and Rosetta! Me and my mother loved our stay

I loved everything

"One of our very best, most enjoyable, scenic stays we've ever had in 30 years of traveling together!"

10.0

The views and hospitality simply don’t get any better than this, and it’s well worth the climb to reach. Federica and Rosetta run a smooth, clean, impressive operation, and are very skilled in the kitchen. We miss them, their wonderful breakfasts (my favorite: Uovo Purgatorio), and delicious homemade lemoncello, and of course the stunning, unforgettable views from their terrace! We wouldn’t hesitate to return — and we will! A few tips for guests: 1) As the description indicates, the villa is not on a street at all. It is actually the lower level of a multi-level villa perched on a scenic cliffside that you reach by climbing a series of winding staircases from the nearest street below. 2) If you have anything larger than a small weekend bag, definitely hire a porter to bring your bags to the villa — especially if you are arriving by ferry. You will regret it otherwise! (Because our week-long stay was part of a 15-day trip with 2 large suitcases 1 small one, and 2 hand-held bags, porters were an absolute must for us.) 3) If arriving by ferry, ignore GPS walking directions — even to the nearby Hotel Posa Posa on the nearest street. GPS can be completely off and misdirect you repeatedly so that you end up walking needlessly up challenging pedestrian staircases that don’t take you where you need to go. Instead, buy shuttlebus tickets at any tobacco shop in town, take the “Interno” bus from the main stop in town (Piazza dei Mulini), get off at the Fornillo stop (at a small cave-like setting adjacent to Hotel Posa Posa), then climb the 180 steps to the villa. 4) Although you can take any city shuttlebus from the Fornillo stop (at Hotel Posa Posa) down to the main square in town (the last stop on each line, Piazza dei Mulini), ONLY the Interno Positano bus will return you to the Fornillo stop when it’s time to return to the guesthouse. If you hop onto any other bus going up, you will not get there.

Initially, the endless steps — but trust me, you'll very quickly get used to them! Besides, if you expect to visit anywhere in Positano without climbing steps — many of them — you're being delusional. As a bonus, they help to offset the calories from all the pasta, pizza, seafood, and gelato you'll consume every day! ;)
