Hotel Birds View

Was a very good place. The owner was always helpful whenever we needed something.

I enjoyed my time at this place. Host is very considerate, and the food is good! It's located in a very quiet garden. Location is very nice to go walking along the nearby lake, which is a good place for birdwatching!

Breakfast was good. Only we booked a family room and they wanted to put us in a basic room with no view. Luckily we completed and got the room we booked. When we left, they cancelled our booking, so they had not to pay booking.com. very strange! Hotel is at a beautiful lake, with a lot on nature.

They turn of the air-conditioning when you leave the room. Picture of the hotel are not up to date. Booking of Safari tour was totally gone wrong. The ask almost double of the official price. Had a big discussion with the tour operator.

Indika and his brother are lovely hosts. They make sure their guests are fulfilled and served like kings/queens. I did feel pampered! On top of that, they cook great local food at a very affordable price, and they have a good network for Safaris.

Safari cost much more than quoted elsewhere, including same park.

This place is perfect if you're planning to explore Yala through safaris. We organized ours with the hotel, and it turned out to be great fun and good value. The room was not only clean but also comfortable, offering lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The refreshing welcome drinks were a delightful touch. The hotel lives up to its name, providing an amazing lake view with an abundance of birdlife. Highly recommended for nature enthusiasts!

The owners was really nice and helpful. Good food and they have a laundry service which is great! we also liked the terrace!

I'd recommend a room with a/c because it was too hot. That's too bad the room we stayed in was dark with no windows to bring light. It's a bit far from town, a 45 minutes walk but at least it was peaceful! the bathroom wasn't really clean (spider webs, ants, insects...)
