Charming View Homestay

Die Räumlichkeiten waren sauber und gut. Alles hat funktioniert. Sehr schöne Aussicht. Der Service war gut. Aber wirklich sehr sehr gut war das Frühstück. Jeden Morgen etwas anderes landestypische, aber eines hat besser geschmeckt als das andere. Für uns war es das beste Frühstück auf unserer Sri-Lanka Reise. Die Unterkunft würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, ist die Unterkunft etwas abgelegen, aber über gute Straßen gut erreichbar. Angeblich sind es zu Fuß über die Gleisen nur 10 Minuten in die City. Haben wir nicht ausprobiert. Abgesehen von der Unterkunft, würde ich vermutlich bei der nächsten Sri-Lanka Reise Ella meiden, weil es extrem touristisch ist und in der Innenstadt ein permanentes Verkehrschaos herrscht, mit viel Smog.

La ubicación muy buena, estás a 10 minutos del centro andando por las vías. El desayuno genial en la terraza. La lavandería nos la gestionaron ellos sencillamente.

Vanaf het terras kon je de trein eronder zien rijden. Dit was eigenlijk heel leuk om te zien, maar gaf ook wat lawaai.

Geweldig uitzicht met Ella Rock, waterval en treinrails. Korte wandeling over spoor om naar centrum te lopen

Kamers zijn basic en communicatie wat lastiger

Расположение отличное. Сам город очень шумный, проблемы с парковкой, вообще не нашли место, где можно стать, а где остановились, там штраф. Скорее уехали на заселение. Место тихое, единственное, дорога страшновата, под горку, но без проблем проехали и было место для парковки. Под окном ходят каждый час поезда, нам не мешало (ночью не ходят, часов с 6.30 утра), зато атмосфера очень интересная. По путям 10 минут до города, идти не страшно, все так ходят, главное, знать время прохода поезда. И не надо обходить далеко. Восприняли как приключение, соответствующее месту) по проводам бегают бурундуки. Красивый сад вокруг. А ночью можно рассмотреть млечный путь. Хозяева приятные. Угостили при заезде печеньем и бананами, было очень приятно. Номер неплохой, ничего лишнего, но для проживания комфортно. Были сетки на кроватях. Чисто. Всем довольны, благодарим за гостеприимство.

Не очень понравился завтрак.

We stayed in a small but cozy private room with hot water and a welcoming atmosphere. The lovely hosts greeted us with tea and served a generous breakfast in the morning. The absolute highlight was the breathtaking view – true to the name! From our private terrace we could see Little Adam’s Peak on one side and a waterfall on the other. Below the terrace, our children loved watching the train pass by, excited for their own ride the next day. A warm, peaceful stay with unforgettable scenery.

Nice and clean little homestay that has everything you can ask for. And it sure is a nice and charming view! A short walk on the train tracks! takes you to the city. Nice breakfast. The host helped with laundry.

View from the terrace was absolutely amazing!! Staff is so kind and helpful, we had breakfast on the terrace every morning, they helped us arrange the tuk tuk since the pick me application couldn’t find the location.

The apartment could be little more clean, the blankets and towels had some strange smell :/

We had a fantastic stay! The hosts were excellent—extremely friendly and hospitable throughout our visit. The location is very convenient, with Ella town just a 5-minute walk away via the railway track. It's about a 30–40 minute scenic walk to the Nine Arch Bridge along the same track, which we really enjoyed. After a fun night out in town, taking a tuk-tuk back was a great option when we felt a bit too tired to walk. The property is centrally located, making it easy to access all the main attractions. A special bonus was the beautiful view of the waterfall, especially from the top level—absolutely stunning even if it is at the distance! The house is near the railway track, and the occasional passing train was actually a charming and unique part of the experience.
