Charming View Homestay

Stunning view from the own balcony. Perfect location just 10 minute walk from Ella city. As not ok the center not loud. Very good breakfast.

The location is good, in the woods, close to waterfall. There are 2 rooms available for guest, each has a 2 double beds (4 persons in total). And both has a waterfall view. The upper room is dry, but the one on the first floor is kind of damp.

1. The down room is kind of wet. 2. Wi-fi almost doesn’t work. 3. Little shelves and racks for clothes. 4. Water heater on the second floor, i was on the first floor and we had shortages with the hot water.

Very comfy bed and clean room. A bit far away from the town but short distance by train tracks and okay price with tuk tuk. Spectacular views from the balcony and nice breakfast.

The family greeted us with tea and cookies. They were very friendly the whole time and they made a delicious breakfast which was a little different every morning. The room was very clean and had everything we needed including a very good mosquito net. The view from the balcony, where you‘ll also have the breakfast is very nice. To go to town you can walk on the railway which only takes about 15-20 minutes. I can really recommend it.

There is no A/C and it‘s really warm in the room. We had to open the door during the night and put the fan there. And unfortunately locals burned plastic nearby (quite often) and the smoke came into the room.

Everything was great, amazing view, very nice hosts, delicious breakfasts, we sincerely recommend it!

Stunning private view that really made us feel relaxed, it was beautiful and we loved seeing waterfall and mountains amongst the forest. Comfortable stay and nice basic breakfast with sri lankan items given by the family, every morning with the beautiful view. It is next to train tracks and you can see trains come and go, which actually was quite interesting for us! it doesn't run past 7:30/8pm at night. The room is of a good size. The hosting family are warm and welcoming, even though they couldn't understand the english at times, they tried their best to guide us.

The room has only one standing fan and you can't open the door to make it cooler at night (due to outdoor bugs). The water pressure was quite weak. We were a couple and could only use 1 side table whilst we slept, the room could use 2 more side tables if they want to accommodate for 4 guests. There are also limited plug sockets for charging 3 devices between 2 people. I would recommend them not to put the hairdryer in the bathroom near the shower.

Stunning location with great view of the waterfall and countryside. 10 minute walk along the train line into town. Great breakfast provided. Owners lovely
