Charming View Homestay

Relax place 10 min walk from center on the railway road. Friendly host. Good bed and bathroom. Only strange that the toilet is after the shower. If you shower in the evening and need to go to the toilet you need to walk in the wet place and there is no ventilation.

Wonderful view of the waterfall and easy access to Ella rock hike via the train line in front of the house. Great little restaurant not far away (savory heaven). Takes about 15 minutes to get into town, worth getting a scooter

I missed not having a sheet to put between myself and the comforter at night. The mattress and pillows seemed quite old, the room could need a refresh in general (new mattress and pillows, new white sheets to make it look clean).

Beautiful view from the room, and lovely family who took care of us. Really nice breakfast too. Perfect if you’re looking for basic accommodation a short walk from town

Amazing staff, great location, gorgeous homemade breakfast!

I personally liked the close proximity to the train tracks, which were literally a stone's throw from the accommodation. This also made it an easy trip to the city centre via them. Breakfast was sufficient to start the day.

Quite challenging for a passenger car, but nothing that couldn't be handled with better experience.

I recommed this places, especially because of location.The rooms we had were very comfortable and clean, the upper one has an amazing view. Accommodation was just near the railway, so we had a fast way to get to the center on our own. The trains didn't go at night - we slept well :) The staff was friendly and breakfast was very tasty. Note: although Booking.com shows payment in USD, payment in local currency is preferred.

We could not turn on warm water in one of the rooms.

The homestay is a little bit outside of the city close to the railway tracks, where it is a little bit calmer than in the city center. You can easily walk to the main road over the railway tracks within 10 min. The family was really nice and the breakfast was delicious!

Unfortunately there are currently some constructions ongoing and there were workers directly in front of our terrace and room so we didn't really get our privacy. Additionally the there was mold and a musty smell in the bathroom.

Great place, we can only recommend to stay here. As many stated it is faster to reach than Google says, thanks to the possibility to walk next to the railway. The room was big and clean. The breakfast was the best we had and we even got bisquits and tea in the afternoon. Very nice family running the place!
