Siargao Zita's Garden Inn

The owners are incredibly kind. They also offer free drinking water and coffee.

The accommodation itself is very basic, the room is small and the bathroom even smaller. It is not the most comfortable stay, but it is very affordable if you are on a budget.

They have a generator. A good AC and a very accommodating owner.

The water heater is not working as well as the water pressure is not strong.

We stayed there for 1 night because of a flight cancellation and I am sorry to say, we have a list: - The room smelled like sewage - Constant sounds from the owners through the paperweight door - No outside light gets in the building - The seating area upstairs did have some light, but the couch is basically a brick without cushion BUT, worst of all: 1. The community kitchen was rancid. Dirty, full of open foods, dog food. And after only opening one drawer and one cupboard I counted 5 COCKROACHes. On the cutlery, on the plates,... 2. There is a blackout on the island right now, we understand that generator power might be intermittent. But, they have the gall to demand extra payment FOR THE POWER, that isn't even running half the day. We simply refused. 3. Last, but surprisingly not least, they were just completely and unapologetic RUDE. We arrived when the power was out, into a dark alley/lobby, to be "greeted" by them scrolling tiktok or something. They ferried us to our room, not stopping SCROLLING, no explanation other than to pay extra for the power. Asking questions got you either ignored or some unintelligible answer. We honestly don't understand the comments on the pleasant owners, because all we ever saw was the back of a phone or in front of the TV in the middle of the hallway. We've been in the Philippines for a month, done homestays and remote parts of islands. Not always fancy or luxurious. But this was just simply vile.

Lovely place if you're looking for a couple of days stay. Amazing owners and everything is close enough in the walking distance! Also big plus, that they have generator!

absolutely incredible owners, i was met with so much kindness and love. i was meant to stay 2 weeks but extended to 3. i will definitely be back when i can, truly incredible experience staying here

Hosts are accommodating, friendly and homie vibe. They're all caring and you feel secured during your stay.

Staff were so welcoming and helpful - they helped us book a boat and a tuk tuk. Comfy beds.
