Pànto - Rooftop boutique rooms

It was like unwrapping a lolly. A beautiful Art Deco hotel behind closed doors. Location was excellent near the marina and streets where the great restaurants were. Also within walking distance to the sights.

Nothing all perfect

Il mio soggiorno in questa struttura è andato benissimo. La camera era pulita , spaziosa ed accogliente . La proprietaria e lo staff assolutamente disponibili . Ritornerò sicuramente.

Logement magnifique, tout juste rénové , personnel ultra généreux et serviable , sans aucuns doutes nous reviendrons!

Trop bruyant

Great location for exploring the city. Rooms are stylish and well designed. Staff were friendly and spoke good English -- they helped us sort our city tax on arrival and made the whole check-in process feel easy. Breakfast was a decent spread and the rooftop terrace is a lovely spot for a morning coffee.

There's no signage outside so finding the property for the first time takes some figuring out. They do send arrival instructions and self-check-in codes in advance, so just make sure you've read your emails before you arrive -- particularly if you're getting in late. The deluxe room has a glass window and door to the bathroom, which means no privacy from your travel companion while showering or using the toilet -- worth knowing before you book. The air con is powerful and the room cooled down quickly; with only a sheet and blanket available it took a while to warm up again, and some clearer instructions on the settings would help as there are a lot of features to navigate. Pillow comfort is subjective -- one of us found them fine, the other not so much, so if you're a fussy sleeper it may be worth asking at check-in. Our Bluetooth speaker system wasn't working, and the rooms aren't particularly soundproofed so you can hear noise from the corridor and neighbouring rooms -- neither was a dealbreaker for us but worth being aware of. The rooftop terrace is a series of small balconies rather than an open terrace, so get down early for breakfast if you want a good spot and the best food selection. Fresh juice would also have been a welcome addition to the breakfast spread.
