USThe location is unique.
I understand this is the only hotel. The rooms could use some updating and the restaurant could have more fresh options in the restaurant. Being that this is an island and a fisherman village, you expect to have fresh fish and not old frozen fish.
PLPTAlways wonderful to stay here, returned many times and love the food and hospitality. Rooms are basic but super comfortable with stunning views and clean. Highly recommended
LTFantastic location and exceptionally helpful staff. Managed to arrange a crib for our little one and to help us when she was sick and bored. The stay in this place itself is just magic - basically you comfy sleep on the rocks with birds in the middle of nowhere, have a rich breakfast, picturesque hike, a dip in pristine turquoise waters and a sip of local wine afterwards. In overall, just a wonderful stay, I highly recommend this adventure!
Sometimes some not so pelasant smells catch the nose but its normal knowing you are on a small island
AUWhat an incredible overnight stay! When the majority of tourists have headed back to the mainland you have the island to yourselves and the local fisherman. Suzanna and Philippe were amazing hosts, the food and hospitality was above and beyond. We ate Sea Bream for lunch, prepared and cooked to perfection with a detailed story about the aging process and also the mussels and shrimp we ate for dinner. All the meals including breakfast were amazing, generous portions, great wine, fresh bread and all the staff were friendly and attentive. The room was small but had everything you needed, view to the ocean, comfortable bed, small terrace and great shower. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling near Peniche or Lisbon.
