The house host and the room are excellent! The host, Mel, provided us with excellent breakfast, recommendations on where we can go and she are also so nice to keep the door open for our late back after Little Blue Penguin observation in Timaru! Thanks Mel for the excellent service!

The property was absolutely beautiful. The staff were extremely helpful and kind and everything else was just perfect. The room was comfortable and very clean and the location was very convenient and quiet.

We had a lovely night in the honeymoon suite, such a charming room. The bed was super comfortable with beautiful furnishings and the ensuite was gorgeous, we felt very special. Included in the accommodation was scrumptious breakfast in the main dining room. Such a lovely and unique experience and so close to Lake Tepako and Mt Cook.

We loved everything.

The room — and house — was exceptionally clean and well decorated. The facility also had a peaceful, quiet feel. Mel, our host, was fantastic. She was friendly and helpful. Her breakfast was excellent as well. The room also had its own toilet, sink, and shower. The water was hot and plentiful. The bed was comfortable. WiFi and TV worked flawlessly. Parking was ample, the flowers and grounds were well maintained. We highly recommend as stay at Kingsdown Manor!

The room was just magnificent. So very cosy and inviting. Breakfast was served in our room which was very spacious with a small table which looked out onto the courtyard.
