Comfortable bed, clean room and good location

The bathroom is noisy, we could hear everything on the street, the bed was comfortable but since it was old it made a lot of noise, the common area with the kitchen was ok but the fridge wasn’t clean.

Shower wasn’t working properly and no hot water. The flush was extremely loud and everything was old.

The rooms were nice and had air-conditioning. The building was nice and quiet for the most part. The main door and elevator door slams so when people come in late it's loud but no one comes through super late at night so there are no distractions from sleep.

The bed wasn't super comfortable but adequate. The bathroom was humid and smelled of mold which is common but I would suggest to try and let them air out as often as possible especially when not in use. The place is not a Bed & Breakfast but more a Guest House. It said there was coffee and tea in the amenities but there was not.

The service staff does not clean the WC / bathrooms as required. Since these WC were shared, multiple rooms used the same WC. It was dirty for many days. I do not recommend this place.

A lot of noise coming from the street. The windows are not double glazed.

The location was good but parking is an issue. There's no parking for the accommodation so you have to find public parking and this can be quite a way away. Carrying bags to and from is the issue.

It was filthy. No one cleaned the bathroom, and it was very dirty. The drains did not clear quickly. someone took all the toilet paper the one night, leaving none at all. We had two rooms but only one bathroom key. We had use of a rooftop outside area with a kitchen. There were dirty dishes. The area was filthy. Our room was in the slanted roof. We could hardly stand up. We could basically just use the bed. It was truly ridiculous, and they should not be allowed to charge for this room. The floor was dusty. I could feel grit under my feet. I can not imagine when it was last cleaned. If there was a minus point option, I would give it that. Not recommended at all.

I booked hotel Batalhoz for 2 nights , first night no one came to help with check in. They send on email password for taking keys for the room, and the password was not correct, as well. We called hotel contact number several times that night no one answered, and no one was there to give another key! So unprofessional.
