Bluff Hill Bed & Breakfast

Very comfortable garden cottage surrounded by beautiful greenery and trees. Kitty was a great host and also a fantastic baker. Fresh bread and pastries each morning for breakfast. The cottage is a 20 minute walk downhill into Napier. Easy to catch an Uber after dinner each night to take you back up the steep hill.

Our stay with Kitty was absolutely amazing. We loved every single part of it, from the suite we stayed in that just radiated comfort and coziness, to the amenities, the breakfast supplied by Kitty and the helpful information she supplied. When we arrived I was still recovering from a hard flu and this stay was exactly what we both needed to rejuvenate for our second half of our trip. Kitty truly is a fantastic host. There was a cyclone warning for the island and even though it was hitting days before we were even due at Kitty's place she reached out to make sure that we knew and were secure for the duration. That's just how thoughtful she is. An excellent place to stay where you get both all the seclusion you could need, and a lovely, non invasive host who makes you feel very welcome. We would book back with Kitty in a heartbeat and she changed my partners entire opinion on staying at B&B's. Now we just have to find ones as good as Kitty's!

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast with the most delicious breakfast. We arrived to find our names on our reserved parking spot and Kitti (our host)welcoming us with a smile. She walked us to our cottage and provided us with information on local activities and restaurants. The cottage is so lovely it is designed from a story book. We felt right at home. The shower had excellent pressure, the bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a tv with Netflix. The next morning we woke up to the most delicious breakfast of fresh pastries, cake, breads, jams, fresh orange juice and all other sorts of wonderful treats. Kitti is the most delightful host we have ever met she truly goes beyond to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful time.

Staying at Bluff Hill was an absolute delight. We stayed for 3 nights in the little cottage, it was small but quirky, delightful and had everything we needed. There were plenty of towels, well stocked kitchenette and a chocolate on the bed when we arrived as well as cookies and some sweets in a jar Kitty is a legend and helped us with washing and general advice. Each morning she baked pastries which were delicious. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt very well looked after. Including very detailed instructions as to how to find the b&b Would thoroughly recommend a visit. .

Be aware the walking path into town is very steep. Road is steep and windy for the last couple of minutes

Kitty is a friendly and kind host. She bakes buns and bread for breakfast herself. The cottage is immaculate. I recommend her to everyone.
