Bluff Hill Bed & Breakfast

Peaceful, relaxed, lovely setting. Host very welcoming

Excellent host and breakfast. Loved the garden, sheltered, bird song and pool.

The cottage was just a little tiny for 2 persons with 2 suitcases.

Wir haben zwei Nächte in dem kleinen, liebevoll eingerichteten Cottage mit eigener Terrasse gewohnt. Das Frühstück gab es bei Kitty im Haupthaus. Es war sehr lecker und umfangreich.

Kitty provided us with the most amazing stay so far in NZ. The breakfast was to die for, the company even better. The room was perfection every detail thought out. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Bluff Hill ligt op een bijzonder mooie plek op een heuvel middenin Napier. De hosts Kitty en Peter zijn bijzonder aardig! Onze suite was in art-deco stijl ingericht: heel bijzonder. Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk. Een enige plek om te verblijven!

The directions to the property were perfect and there was dedicated parking for each guest which made things simple. We stayed in The Suite and it was very comfortable. The furnishings throughout are top quality and they have retained the character of the property with stained glass in the doors and stripping them back to their original wood (they had previously been painted over). The bathroom is modern and clean - large shower, good water pressure and heated towel rail. The bed was incredibly comfortable and there is a heat pump/air con in the room. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. European/continental style with homemade granola, homemade cinnamon scrolls/chocolate filled brioche, and freshly baked bread, meats and cheeses, and fresh fruit. Set us up for the day! Kitty is an excellent host - very warm, friendly and welcoming. She also respects guests' privacy. We would chat to her over breakfast and then not see her again all day. The location is excellent - just a short walk into town from the B&B. Being on the hill, going into town is easy as it's all downhill. A little more effort is needed to walk back!

Excellent host who provided a wonderful breakfast with homemade bread and pastries . The cottage was small but with a good en-suite bathroom with a fantastic shower. The properties was surrounded by trees and birds

I would leave a hundred 💯 points if I could. This has been the most amazing place. Every detail you could think of right down to quality linen and home baked goods you would find in a high quality Dutch bakery. Kitty makes your stay a holiday to remember. Peter’s attention to detail is in all the beautiful fixtures and fittings. Bathroom is superb. Garden nearby everything in the stunning Napier. We will be back. Can’t recommend this one highly enough. It’s heaven.

Leaving. Could have stayed much longer. Will genuinely miss Kitty’s cooking and warmth.
