beautiful, peaceful place. there's nice loungers next to the pool. the little patios are nice and have a fan, though the mattresses could be a little comfier. nice, large beds. rooms have fan and a/c.

the hot water didn't seem to work so i couldn't take advantage of the big bathtub.

Amazing views of the mountains, forests and the Coronado coastline in the distance. Very quiet and peaceful.surroundings. Great area to hike in the morning and the locals are very friendly. The manager Else and staff were very friendly and the meals were simple but very good. I had the Fish both nights and it was very good..

We had a magical experience at La Maracuya! The nature and views are incredible, perfect for relaxation. Else and her team were incredibly attentive and took great care of us – the home-cooked food was one of the highlights of our experience. 10/10 would recommend and hope we'll be able to come back in the future!

Loved the boho-styled room and outdoor shower! Wonderful pool area. Service was excellent, but 100% in Spanish so bring your phone for translation if you need it. Lunches and dinners were wonderful, but limited. My friend has celiac and they allowed her to cook her own food in the central kitchen, which was awesome!

It was totally fine for me, but there's nothing much in the immediate area so it's really a place to go to relax, unwind and enjoy the beautiful view and tranquil setting.

Quiet and clean, beautiful nature

Betsy is an excellent cook. Best dinner we had in Panama! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The pool was very nice and we enjoyed a very relaxing few days. We needed to change our reservation and Sigfried was super about accommodating our request. The room was very nice and clean and the linens and towels really nice! Pool towels were provided. Such a nice spot to get away and relax after touring around the area all day!!

There could have been a better selection of drinks in the pool fridge but we knew to bring our own snacks so it wasn't that big a thing. We were just expecting a bar. We walked up to the place across the street and found a full service bar there. We were alone at the place at night and that was a bit disconcerting as we were not familiar with the area. A TV would have been nice in the room to get the news, since it is super dark and windy at night, but we read and played cards on the bed so it wasn't that big a deal.

A great place to relax, listen to the birds and enjoy a glass of wine.
