The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The en suite shower facilities needs improvement. This feedback was shared with the owners. They appreciated the feedback and said they will address the matter.

Bathroom needs an Update.

The property gave Mountain View’s from our room, had a balcony to enjoy the spectacular scenery, was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was enjoyable and the host extremely helpful with information. He arranged a great trip for us by tuc tuc to 9 arches bridge ( good timing for train arrival) followed by Halpe tea plantation and factory. Whilst high up from the town the walk in along the railway track is only about 10 minutes and easy going. We either walked back or got a tuc tuc. There was also the cutest dog we saw in Sri Lanka - a white Pomeranian.

Whilst not a problem for us, there are are number of fairly steep steps from the road up to the property which could be a problem for people with mobility issues.

I loved the serenity of the area and the room! The property is just next to a temple, it was great to visit it and encounter the monks. The view down the road just in front of the property is a million dollar view. You can also see the great view of Ella and the waterfall from the balcony. The room was great, clean, light and very peaceful. I loved the breakfast that the owners prepared and the welcome drink with bananas. The dog was very cute, and the owners too ❤️

The family were very kind and so helpful with any questions we had. They even drew us a map of local area to help us when we were out and about. Thank you for an enjoyable stay 😊.

Loved this place, clean and super friendly with an amazing view. The owner gave us lots of information and took us his friends local restaurant near by which was also excellent. Would definitely return.

Heavens Seven was such a beautiful and calming stay. The host & his wife are lovely, welcoming and helpful people who did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We had a very early train and they still were able to provide us with a lovely breakfast, they have even gone over and above to send an item we left behind to Colombo for us, so we can collect it when we get back. We had some lovely conversations with the hosts as well. The view from the room is absolutely breathtaking & the home stay is just a short (beautiful) walk along the trainline to town (about 10 mins). Breakfast was amazing & the hosts were so helpful around directions and booking us transport when needed. This was one of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka, we will remember this stay for a very long time.

Great little homestay. The owner was very friendly and supported us with our planning. The view from the room and the balcony is just amazing. And even if we're not dog people, you just have to love the owner's cute dog Leo who greets you every time you come back. We would also recommend the restaurant which was recommended by the owner. It’s just a little walk to get great selfmade Sri Lankan food for a very fair price.

We had an exceptional stay at Heavens Seven - the photos and reviews are all accurate; a setting even more beautiful in person. The hosts were very kind, arranging transport for us throughout the stay (and onward) and providing a good breakfast each morning. The walk into Ella Town is 15 mins (30 to Nine Arch bridge) or tuktuks can be booked. Highly recommend staying here - the location and service cannot be beaten.
