Mount Palace

支配人が知日家でかつて若い頃に留学も考えたことがあるとの事でしたが、できればあともう1日余計に滞在して色々と話してみたいと思う位でした。かわいい娘さんが2人いて時折お手伝いをしてくれていました。とにかく眺めの美しいホテルで、この大きなテラスにあるソファーに腰掛けて紅茶でも飲んでいたら、1日それだけで幸せな気分で過ごせるように思います。

1つだけ気になったのは、部屋に若干の匂いが残っていたことです。

The staff were lovely & v helpful. The room was spacious with places to put things

The room smelt damp & there was damp on the ceiling & paint peeling off. The hill going up to the hotel is steep & whilst that in itself isnt an issue in the dark it is easy to twist an ankle & the tuc tuc get stuck!

Un peu excentré

Prachtig terras en erg stil in het hotel en daarbuiten. Super locatie, omdat het dus erg rustig was, maar je ook zo in het centrum bent. Twintig minuutjes lopen of 10 minuten tuktuk, die ook vlakbij (bij het ziekenhuis) te vinden zijn. Ontbijt was ook super voor elkaar. Wij waren met z’n tweeën en kozen het English Breakfast en Sri Lankan Breakfast om samen te delen. Heerlijk gegeten op het fijne terras dat uitkijkt over de stad.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel with my family, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional and always ready to help with a smile. The location was perfect—convenient to local attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, yet still quiet and peaceful at night. The food was fresh and delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. Overall, it was an excellent experience from check-in to check-out. I would definitely stay here again and confidently recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and good value for money.
