Sigiriya Amenity Home Stay

Very lovely wife. Went out of way to help. It was very close to Sigiriya reataurants. Breakfast was very good. The room and bathroom were clean. Outdoor verandah with chairs great. The outdoor dining area was very lovely, relaxing. It has so much potential but needs fine tuning. Give water, a decent bed sheet, a kettle. It wouldn't cost that much more, and perhaps we would have paid some more.

The room was big enough for 2 people, but 4 would be very cramped with luggage. The bottom bed sheet barely fitted on bed and kept coming loose in the night. The air conditioner, although worked well, blew directly on to bed a night. Unable to redirect it. There was no fan, and no kettle as advertised. They said they would give us boiling water for a hot drink, but they were not available to do so for us. We didn't sleep well at all for the two nights we were there.it was not a comfortable stay.

The place is an authentic home stay with a beautiful and lively garden. You coudl see a lot of birds and squirrels. There are great restaurant in the neighbourhood as well. Breakfast is included in the price, which was hearty and delicious. Our host gave us a ride to the Lion Rock the next day morning.

Hosts were fantastic! Very friendly and helpful, found all the good spots to visit and even made sure we had takeaway breakfast ready so we could catch an early bus. Perfect location and place to stay!

It was so close to Sigirya Rock and Pidurangala Rock which we climbed. We also had a car so went to Dambulla cave temple. The couple were lovely, very attentive. We also had breakfast which was good.

If your expecting or need really good Wifi connectivity, then this may not be the best place. For us, it wasn't a problem 😁

Very clean, comfortable rooms. Very kind hosts, who offered us to stay in the bigger family room when the AC in the double room had to be repaired.

This is the best place to stay in Sigiriya! Perfect location, close to restaurants and views of lion rock! The hosts are so friendly, kind and helpful and made the most delicious breakfast. Anything we needed they were more than willing to help us out, even driving us to the train station when we left. This homestay made our time in Sri Lanka even more amazing
