Staff very friendly and helpful throughout the whole stay. Perfect location, a few minutes walk to the main centre street, very spacious room and nice, clean bathroom. Couldn’t recommend enough!!

They are working on another building in front of the rooms which at the moment means lots of noise and workers walking pretty much outside your window and in the future it will cover the nice view.

This is my second time to stay in Ella Touch. Convenient location and the room is comfortable stay.

The staff were really friendly and the hotel is close to the centre of town.

1. The hotel is located on a really steep hill. I would not recommend it for anyone who has mobility issues or young children. 2. We stayed in the deluxe bedroom and it was floor to ceiling windows on the ground floor. The room felt really exposed and we had to draw the curtains the full time as everyone walks past the room. 3. The bathroom in the deluxe room had the worst mould I have ever seen in a hotel. It didn’t appear that any effort had been made to remove the mould. There also wasn’t any ventilation in the bathroom to prevent it from happening. 4. The bedding was covered in stains. 5. There is a building site directly next to the hotel and we were woken up repeatedly around 07:00am. 6. The room was really hot and humid every day we stayed. There was no air conditioning in the room (which we were aware of when booking). But there was only one fan available in the room and it was not very strong. For a room that size, it definitely required more fans. 7. The shower wasn’t great and frequently ran out of hot water. 8. There were ants in the room and on the bed when we arrived. The ants continued to show up every single day. I would not stay in this hotel again.

Rooms: Clean, comfortable beds and great shower temperature and pressure. Location: 3 minute walk from central Ella with amazing restaurants and night life. Host: Great guy, organised all our trips and tuk tuk transport for a very reasonable price.

No AC or fan. Steep walk up hill to get to the accommodation. Not a big walk but anyone with mobility issues could struggle. However, tuk tuks can drive up.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel and everything was perfect! Perfect location (close to shops), spacious and clean room and a warm welcome by Vije and Milan. Milan is generous, kind, smiling and responsive. In addition, he gave us many tips for visiting the city and its surroundings. I highly recommend!

The young caretaker was always polite and friendly and I liked him. The hotel was modern, clean and in a close location to shops and restaurants.

The caretaker was chalming and friendly but didn't always give us our privacy as he spent too much time around the guests rooms. He was also a bit too friendly with pricing for tours and transport around Ella. Maybe not his fault, likely under instruction from his employer to maximise profit. When we paid for hotel, they had no electronic payment available nor any change available to pay in cash. I was very angry Id have to go back down street to buy something in order to have the correct money to pay hotel. So unprofessional. Once there was no hot water for showering. There was always an older man lurking around the hotel talking in Sinhalese to the young caretaker but not an employee. Suspicious. Some ongoing construction close to hotel. Not too noisy, just unsightly and a messy shared driveway .
