Ella Touch

Friendly staff, it felt safe and they allowed us to keep our bags there after check-out as we went exploring around Ella, before leaving in the afternoon for the coast.

The room smelled overpoweringly of damp and the 'toiletries' turned out to be a bar of handsoap and the bathrobes pure fiction. No sheet to cover yourself - just a blanket.

Actually we liked the rooms, we ordered two. One was triple, spacious with a wonderful views from balcony, big windows and the other one was at first floor, double room, smaller but also nice. Very good value for the price. It is also located 3 min from Ella centre with all shops and restaurants so that was comfortable.

Not so good things place about this place: - constructions are happening around the building so keep in mind that you can be woken up at 8 am from all the sounds. - kind of poor sound proofing you can hear people talking outside and music in the late evening from Ella center

It’s a perfect location up a bit of a hill but means you can’t hear all of Ella on a night, the accommodation itself is very well cleaned with good facilities and can’t name a single fault. Would definitely recommend very shocked this place is not more expensive.

The room was clean and very spacious.

The room had zero privacy, is all windows facing every one who is going to other rooms, there were workers so I had to stay the entire time with all the curtains closed.

Great value, facilities were nice. Very good for the amount you pay, great location close to the center.

Room had a bit of a musky scent but you get used to it after a few minutes and forget about it

Location great! Ella itself is a bit noisy so we were very happy to be a little bit outside the center, but still close enough to have restaurants, ect. Ruwan is a really easy-going, nice guy and helped us a lot. The room was very clean and the beds huge.

Chilly at night, but Ruwan gave us more blankets, then it was totally fine.

The bed was lovely. The garden is small and they were working there, but no disturbance. Owner was nice and the windows in the room nice. You do not hear the noises of Ella, what is very nice and a lot of nature sounds around. It is very close of everything.

It is a steep hill up. Specially after a night drinking it is steep.
