Wifi was not usable. Rooms were nice and cozy

Everything, it was perfect, such a comfortable bed and a nice big clean room. Couldn’t have asked for more, plus the staff are amazing. Thankyou so much

The best thing about this place is the manager, Milan. I've met a lot of very nice hosts in my month in Sri Lanka but he stands above. Very nice and welcoming. Took care of all travel needs. Need a tuk tuk? Safari arrangements. Whatever, he did a great job. My phone got wet and wouldn't charge. He dried it out. I found myself just hanging at the hotel with Milan. The place is fairly new and quite nice. It's up a hill on a one lane road that is two way traffic. 70% of the time it's fine but the rest it can be a mess. The hotel has views of Ella rock and the monastery. Milan said sunrises are beautiful and features Ella Rock but I did not catch one. No AC but you don't need it. Room has plates, glasses, cups and a hot pot. I tried to extend my stay but it was booked.

The internet exists but is a little slow. But my phone data worked just fine. Others complained about construction but I could barely hear it. It's much quieter than most places I've stayed in this country.

Milan and Vije were very welcoming given we booked early in the morning and arrived shortly after. Milan was a great host to chat to and made us feel very comfortable. The bed and bathroom were both very clean. Lots of space in the room, with chairs to sit on inside and outside. The mini fridge was handy too. One of the best bathrooms we saw in Sri Lanka. The balcony view of Ella rock was excellent.

the room is spacious and comfortable, there is a mini fridge and a kettle. Blankets for cool nights and a comfortable bed

mold in the bathroom (although this is almost in all hotels) and no adapter for sockets

10 minutes before check-in I got a call from them telling me they are overbooked…
