Magnolias Cottage

An idealic location off the beaten path. Fernando and Virginia take obvious pride in the property. It was a treat to enjoy fresh figs and plums from the trees. The cottage is small, but efficient.

It would have been helpful to know to stop at a market on the way. We had to drive back to Lousa for dinner after a full day of driving already.

It was peaceful and quiet. Virginia and Fernando were the perfect hosts. We had dinner with them one night on their porch. The breakfast that she left for us outside our door was excellent! Eggs, bacon, fruits, breads, homemade jams, they even left homemade port on our table for when we first arrived.

A área envolvente, os pequenos detalhes como os jogos de tabuleiro, o som da natureza, o pequeno almoço no cestinho, os animais da quinta e obviamente o mais importante a simpatia e amabilidade dos proprietários.

Die Ruhe und Gastfreundschaft

Very romantic and lovely cottage, we stayed only for one night but had a very lovely and relaxing stay. The breakfast was amazing and very tasty. The hosts were so accomodating. Highly recommend for everyone (also families with child). The jacuzzi was a nice touch to end our day :-).

Excelente receção. Espaço maravilhoso. O envolvente é lindo. Para voltar de certeza. Fiz um pedido extra e foi tudo preparado de forma perfeita. O pequeno almoço estava ótimo.
