Lovely old couple with genuine friendly hospitality. They go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and well cared for

Some may have struggled to sleep with possums on the roof but I thought it added to the Raetehi charm!

I visit this township every six months and stay here. This is a very quiet, relaxed warm and friendly place to stay. I just adore Ron and Alison really lovely hosts

This has to be the place to stay in Raetihi and I plan to return with my partner. The hosts were lovely, and provided a completely separate area with bedroom, lounge and dining area/breakfast bar. Breakfast was just the right amount of everything, and set me up for a long cycle ride.

Just a pity that the local Cosmopolitan Club wasn't open for dinner on Monday, as that would be the best option for dining in Raetihi. Lovely stay.

Loved our friendly chats with Alison and Ron who went out of their way to make sure we had great time! including sampling home made port which was fab! Went to Cosmopolitan club nearby for a meal which was very friendly. Good beer and good food.
