Breakfast was good, nice variety and good amount.

We booked a trip through the hostel, the boat was supposed to be a maximum of 20 people. But instead when we arrived to the boat to have our trip, we see that it had 40 people on it. Very commercial. We requested a refund and were refused one and even had to argue for a very long time. Very disappointing behavior, very unfair and hate the feeling of being scammed.

I booked a double bed for $22. It showed two beds, when my friend and I came here, we were told there was only one bed. We communicated with the manager very friendly and hoped to give us a room with two beds. The manager said that the room with two beds is for 3-4 people, but I said that the booking is indeed two beds. I can understand that there is no room,is ok for us. but the manager said angrily, she said what do you want to buy for $22, breakfast, water...what the cost. I think if she is not happy with the price, she should not deliberately use low prices to attract people on booking. In the end, she didn't give me a chance to speak, and even pointed her finger at me, which was very rude. Her husband heard her cry and calmed her down. She was even more crazy, scolded me, kept pointing her finger at me, I asked her to take her finger away, she didn't take it, I pushed her finger away with my hand, and she started hitting me, I was not reconciled, and hit her back. She grabbed me and scraped my arm with her fingernails. Her male employee couldn't stop her. She frantically grabbed my clothes and beat me. My clothes were torn and I was injured, badly. Physically and mentally, both are hurt. In the end we asked her to refund the money and she said to refund the order. We didn't return the order just to because want to give a bad review, we didn't check in and wasted $22. Really bad, one of the worst experiences of my life.

Excellent breakfast prepared by a very good young female employee. The opportunity to have evening meals at the hotel. Friendly staff, nice relaxed atmosphere. Good to meet other foreign tourists.

Nothing

I loved the location. Not around all other hostels/hotels, but still so close to everything you need. The calm part of Nungwi beach is just around the corner and within walking distance to the busy beach sides. Local restaurants and shops nearby. Comfy beds, washing machine to be used for a small fee, chilled common area, and very friendly hosts!

A suggestion is to add another seating area to accommodate a large group of guests at the same time for breakfast fx.
