Juste au dessus d'un bar, donc en soirée quelques bruits mai très supportables.

A fantastic spot. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was big and comfortable, and had a great view out over the bay. Set in a very pleasant neighbourhood a little bit away from the fray.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Wir hatten uns auf diesen Ort gefreut.Als wir mit dem Auto ankamen wurden wir schon vor der Haustür empfangen.Es gab erstmal ein Erfrischungsgetränk. Das Zimmer war sehr schön groß mit Blick auf die Bucht,so wie von uns gebucht.Frühstück war individuell und wurde immer frisch zubereitet. Unseren Tagesausflug in die Halongbucht wurde von unseren Gastgebern organisiert auf unseren Wunsch und wir persönlich hingebracht und abgeholt. Auf einem kleinen Balkon haben wir unseren eigenen mogendlichen Kaffee getrunken. Der Beach ist nicht weit weg.Rundum hatten wir 3 wundervolle Tage im Lily Homestay, mit viel Herzlichkeit.Ganz vielen Dank! Christiane & Erik

Tout. Tout était parfait. Les hôtes sont très gentils, serviables et accueillants. La localisation est parfaite dans un coin pas trop bondé de monde, plein de restaurants autour et plage à quelques minutes de marche. Le homestay est encore mieux que sur les photos, on s’y sent très vite chez soi. Je recommande à 1000000% c’est une très bonne adresse.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen und die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten über sie eine Bootstour buchen und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und das Essen schmeckt super und wird frisch zubereitet, auch mit Extrawünschen wie z.B. glutenfrei. Gerne wieder

Lily and her husband gave us such a warm welcome and immediately felt like home. They are very generous with their house encouraging us to use their kitchen, garden, living room. Our room was large and well equipped with a balcony from which the sea and islands of Ha Long were easily seen. There was also a roof top sitting area. Lily arranged a fantastic day cruise to see the islands and had lots of good information about the locality. It was enjoyable talking to Lily and her English is excellent. If we're in Ha Long again, Lilys is definitely where we will stay.

Nothing

Great accommodation if you plan to stay on land and do day trips. The host (which in our case was Lily‘s mom) not only let us check-in earlier than the official time but she also let us stay in the living room and use the shower and toilet until the evening of our departure. She also upgraded us to a better room for free, since it was available. We really appreciated all the help and tips she provided and the fact that we had free access to the house from our arrival to our departure. Also, there is a really nice beach used only by locals with locker, changing rooms and showers only 20 min by foot from the accommodation (pictures attached).

The only downgrade was that for any cruises or transportations to Ninh Binh/Hanoi/etc. you book, there will not be a direct pick-up from the homestay, so you have to pay extra. The furthest those companies go to pick you up is the Bai Chay area. Personally, we didn‘t mind all that much because that way we could enjoy the quietness and a more local area of Halong.
