Hạ Long Lily Homestay

The property is a 4 room family home stay, so you are staying with the family, Lilly's mum runs the show along with her husband, they are super amazing 😍, they can organise anything you need , they even helped us with menu translations for the local restaurants, the rooms are large and comfortable, the property has amazing views of the bay, located very near the main road , plenty of restaurants near by, all are local Vietnamese, so there are no English or other menu translations available, if you like seafood, this is your place. There is a large supermarket 5 minutes walk away, if you want to buy food and cook at Lilly's, you can use all her kitchen stuff. We enjoyed being away from the central hustle and bustle of main stream Ha Long , we walked into the town, along the water front ( took about an hour ) but we weren't rushing 😁👍 , the views are great. Taxis are cheap, and food also The property is a little hard to find , it's next to a cafe , our driver had loads of fun trying to find it .

It's a little out of the way from the large tourist areas of Ha Long , it's a local Vietnamese area. The main road can be a bit noisy with the traffic beeping horns constantly 😂😂😂

Great quiet location in a more residential area. We had a very nice welcome, an easy check in and we were amazed about the beauty of the facility. We got help in finding a place to have dinner the day we arrived and the next morning we were served nice breakfast.

Lily’s was amazing , we really enjoyed our stay here ! Was honestly the best place as we it felt like we was getting looked after by our mum ! Was so homely and everyone was so helpful and amazing to us ! We loved every minute of our stay and made everything so easy for us . ( they also gave us great discounts for the cruise ) :) also have the most beautiful view from their roof top

Lily Homestay was a lovely place to stay — the room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the location is perfect. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful; I had some back pain during my trip and they really took great care of me. They also organize excursions and are always very accommodating. I truly recommend it!

Everything was great! We had a nice room, not too small, clean and we had everything we needed. We worried about having a room without a bathroom in it, but the shared bathroom on the floor was always available and clean! And breakfasts were good too, so be sure, this homestay is truly worth its money and you will enjoy your stay here. P.s. This side of Ha Long is much better. And there were few coffeeshops and restaurants near this homestay, all pretty good. Beach is close too.

Lovely host that speaks English. It was like staying at your mums house with breakfast and a lovely vibe! Great view from our clean and large room.

The staff ans the owner were amazing. Sweet and kind. Guided us every step of the way. Cooked us an amazing breakfast. Loved it 100%.
