Hạ Long Lily Homestay

Lovely family run accomodation. They were helpful and very kind. It is about a 20-25 minute drive from the marina where all the boats take off from. The view from the terrace is incredible, and everything you might need is in walking distance in terms of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants etc. They made us a nice breakfast of eggs on toast and drip coffee :) Would definitely recommend staying here.

The only slight thing was the hot water in the shower ran out a little quickly. Otherwise everything was fabulous.

Nothing it was perfect

Lily's mum and dad were lovely hosts. They organised for a motorbike, our day trip to see the caves and a driver onto our next destination. The room was huge with a lovely balcony looking out to the sea. Very clean room and comfortable bed and lots of hot water in the shower. The location was a little further out from the main area but still close to food and supermarket. Overall we had a lovely time staying here and had wonderful conversations with the hosts and other people staying in the homestay as well. Lily's mum even woke up early to cook us breakfast before we left to our next destination.

Lily and her family were lovely and very happy to help. The size of the room was a very reasonable and there were lovely view from the room and upper floor balcony. There were food options nearby and we were a 30 minute grab ride from the marina where any cruises leave from. The included breakfast was made whenever we were ready and was a strong Vietnamese coffee, and eggs with a baguette. Very enjoyable

We didn't dislike anything! It would have been nice to have a reading lamp though

A large family three-storey house located at first line of Ha Long Bay, with spectacular views from the rooftop. Spacious rooms furnished in an old egregious style, clean and having all necessary items. The hosts are extremely nice and helpful, and took us for a free ride of the bay and helped a lot recommending an alternative 4-hr boat trip across the bay.

Lilys Mom is very helpful. She gave us very good tips for a cruise and restaurants. We could rent bicycles. The breakfast is very delicious. We made a walk to the swimming beach about 20 minutes.
