Tam Coc The Moon Lady Homestay

The host and her family were really nice and I felt safe there. The breakfast was nice although very simple. The location is good too, walking distance to the boat ride lake in Tam Coc. It's very quiet at night and you can fall asleep to the sounds of crickets.

The rooms are a little old and the room was not clean enough. There were tiny bugs crawling over the outside of my bag. On further inspection, the bugs were on both beds, on the sheets and pillows, some were jumping. I was offered another room, and I changed rooms but there were still some bugs on the sheets, just not as many. The water in the shower doesn't drain properly so it leaves a bad smell. I didn't receive discount on my stay however, I was not charged for my laundry.

The owner went out of her way to ensure I had a lovely stay and even got up at 4am to greet me and let me into a room. The breakfast was varied and delicious and the room was super clean and comfortable. They also had bikes to use to explore the area.

The room did have a damp smell.

We loved our stay at The Moon Lady! Perfect location, they were very kind with bikes and moped rental too. Breakfast was great and varied everyday. Our room was cosy, very comfortable and nice hot shower! Would highly recommend 😊

super clean spacious rooms with a great feel to them. the owners were freindly and so helpful, and the rental bikes were a lovely thing to do during the day. The owner gave us water and snacks for the 12 hour sleeper bus and a gorgeous little present! thank you so much!!

No area to relax / terrasse or garden to enjoy a book or do yoga.

We had a wonderful stay here. The bungalows are really well located and very quiet at the same time. The bed is super comfortabel - the perfect place to rest. Our host made us feel at home from the first second on. She helped us with everything and made our stay special - thank you!
