Lupus Den Country House B&B

What a great place to stay near Addo elephant park ! Lupus Den is a real B&B as we like, in the house of the host, with personal service, home made meals, and host-caring. Of course it's an old-fashion place but that's what we were looking for. Thanks you, we will come back.

we had a very nice time at your house and the wonderful garden. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent. Even if the road is a bit bumpy, it’s worth to spend days in the nice room in the middle of the lovely garden.

The house and garden were very nice, really peaceful. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The host Priscilla was fantastic. She prepared a nice 3-course dinner, and we had some great wine with it. You can tell that she does this with a lot of love and passion for hosting. She makes sure you can enjoy your stay and will help out if needed with planning your day.

Road to the b&b has a lot of potholes

It is a beautiful welcoming farmhouse the garden is beautiful . It is furnished in light colours, very homily. When last did you have tea in fine porselein? Had your dinner with silver cutlery. I loved the experience, the style , the etiquette.

If you're looking for a stay filled with warmth and charm, this is The place. Run by the lovely Priscilla and Noel on their citrus farm, this B&B radiates warmth, love, and history. The whole house is filled with thoughtful details and pieces that tell a story, which made it feel so personal and welcoming. Priscilla’s dinner by candlelight was truly unforgettable—one of the best meals we’ve had in ages, beautifully prepared and delicious. For breakfast, we enjoyed fresh strawberries from the garden and a wonderful orange marmalade. My favorite part was the delicate silverware and the charming collection of plates and ceramics, which added so much character. Priscilla herself was the most wonderful host, making us feel welcome and cared for. We shared such a lovely conversation, and her warmth truly made our stay special. The only thing that could’ve made it better is if we stayed longer. ❤️

We truly enjoyed our stay at this quintessential South African homestead. It is a comfortable, peaceful and very pleasant property with a lovely host. The meals were exceptional and made for a memorable experience.

Staying at Lupus Den is more than a comfortable bed. The story behind it and the hostess Patricia really touched us. For us, it felt like visiting family and eating at home. All the details were taken care of to perfection and we were given interesting recommendations for activities in the area. The garden is a little oasis. The whole house has a soothing atmosphere. Together with the great bedding and peaceful surroundings, it made for the best night's sleep we had during our trip. This B&B has really won a place in our hearts.

The road to the hotel is a gravel road, so take into account that it might take a bit longer to get there. However, you quickly forget about this once you are there: it is totally worth it.
