Lupus Den Country House B&B

Wonderful grand farmhouse in the middle of an active apple plantation. All included even with a crop duster. Good pool, very well maintained manor. Great breakfast, love hosts. Even got a carafe of brandy in the room as a night cap.

Nothing, just beware that to travel to the place you are driving gravel roads.

Our stay at B&B Lupus Den was fantastic! The main house and our chalet were so cosy that we immediately felt at home. Priscilla is incredibly welcoming, friendly and warm-hearted. No matter what, she always helped us immediately. You can just tell how much she cares about her guests. And the breakfast and dinner were also extremely delicious! Highly recommended!

Older standard but is as expected

Attentive and thoughtful owner wanting to make the stay as good as possible, excellent food for supper, take-away breakfast arranged because we wanted to leave early. Nice garden and pool.

A bottle of cold water in the fridge and an ice tray in the freezer would have been good, particularly as it was very hot. A warning needed that no one would come and give the room a quick tidy - after a day out coming back to unmade beds and unwashed cups etc isn’t great. The takeaway breakfast was fine but everything being in plastic containers worried me - aren’t there some cardboard or bamboo containers available? R

Lupus Den is a little sanctuary close to Addo Elephant Park! We had a super nice game drive where we saw so many animals. Arrived at Lupus Den, Priscilla welcomed us warmly and we enjoyed a delicious home cooked 3 course dinner. We stayed at the “Kingfisher” suite, 100% recommended!! Also the pool is super big and surrounded by big trees. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast with everything we could wish for including home made jams and fruit from the garden. The strawberries and figs are just out of this world!

We had a very nice stay here! Priscilla goes beyond to give you the most comfortable experience possible. She showed us around and suggested the places to visit in the vicinity (of which Addo Park is the main attraction of course). She even addresses her guest by their first name - where do you find a personal touch like that? The rooms were very spacious and clean. Very cozy decorated and a lovely cool pool in the shade of the trees to help you cool down on those hot summer days. We will visit again when we get the chance!

The B&B is situated close to Addo. The house is very big, including a very spacious “living room” in which guests can sit down. The room was also very spacious and had a lovely patio. Everything was clean and tidy. Our highlight was definitely the home cooked 3-course dinner prepared by the hostess Priscilla. The food was absolutely fantastic, some of the best lamb we’ve ever had.
