Lupus Den Country House B&B

A very sweet hostess and a great cook. She gave us a very nice feeling and gave us many tips. A wonderful quiet place to relax and close by Addo elephant park!! The house is full of character. We recommend and would love to come back.

The cottages and grounds were both excellent. A/C in the room was most welcome. Internet was very adequate to stream. Breakfast was great as were the two dinners we enjoyed. The patio restaurant a very nice setting. Pricilla is a very attentive host. Overall, very relaxing, like being at home.

It’s such a special place - really cute land house with an amazing garden. If you’re looking for a calming place to relax it’s the best accommodation for you. Also, the host was really kind and was waited for us with a 3-course-dinner even though we were late unfortunately.

There was nothing bad :) just be aware of the roads in this area, you can’t drive so fast and need to plan a bit more time to get there!

I can't recommend this place enough. Lovely and peaceful with lush greenery all around, a little corner of paradise. Beds comfortable, shower great and the food, what can I say, except outstanding. Best of all, we come to the host Priscilla who is so kind, gentle and helpful - she is a truly beautiful person. 20min drive to Addo Elephant Park where you can easily spend a day. The restaurant on-site serves good food and is very reasonably priced.

Loved everything.

I loved everything about my stay at Lupus Den Country House. Priscilla was the most accommodating and helpful host and just a very lovely person. Everything at the B&B is curated with a lot of love for he detail. The bed was super comfortable, the estate, the garden and the surroundings very beautiful. One highlight is most definitely the home - cooked 3-course dinner. It was absolutely amazing!

We were visiting Lupus Den to go on a couple of safaris at Addo and Scotia and it was perfect. At the end of the trip we asked our two grown up daughters for their highlights of the holiday and they both said staying at Lupus was very near the top. Priscilla was a perfect host and if you stay we would highly recommend having your evening meal there as it makes for a wonderful experience. The property itself is absolutely charming, a traditional homestay but lovely. Priscilla was very helpful with various bits of advice including arranging our safari to Scotia. Slightly secluded but so worth the effort, we can't recommend Lupus highly enough.
