Dee Dee is a lovely host and a brilliant cook. We had all breakfasts there. Home made bread still warm and beautifully cooked eggs. Dinners were delicious and prepared as we wished. The big fluffy towels that were hinged every day and the superb pure cotton, ironed bed linen that was changed during our stay. Our separate suite was private and quiet. We enjoy having no TV and just listened to the birds. The huge garden was ours to explore and the eclectic selection of art and objects in the main house was fascinating. This is a location for anyone wanting the full South African experience.

Having to go into the main house for WiFi was a bit of a drag and the approach roads were not for the faint hearted. We soon got used to them even though we were in a small car. Obviously this is not the fault or responsibility of the host.

We did not book for breakfast here. The place is situated in peace and quiet surroundings with the mountain right in front of us. Dee Dee was so friendly and helpful. We walked around in her little garden which is beautiful and just to be there to take a deep breath of true fresh air, not like in the normal busy cities. Great hostess.

It's not a matter that we did not like anything, but it could help if there was some carports for when heavy rains come. We had some heavy rain there and we were afraid that it might hail and the car is not protected.

Host was friendly, conversational and cooked us a great meal. Nice garden and dog friendly

Didi is wonderful. Good food and hospitality with beautiful art, great conversations and peaceful location. Will be back.
