Number 5 is perfectly located in the old part of Rye for exploring and just a two minute walk from the train station. Jeremy and Paul were easy to communicate with and breakfast was well thought out and catered for all types of eaters. Jeremy’s home made bread was totally delicious. As well as our bedroom and huge bathroom which included a bath as well as a shower we had access to a lounge area for either watching tv or relaxing with a book. There is also an outside terrace which we would have loved to have sat out and watched a sunset but too cold. We had a delightful two days and will return.

I’m a bit of a picky person but could find no fault with anything.

The room was wonderful, very large, with an extremely comfortable bed. Beautifully decorated and furnished with several luxurious touches . Charming and helpful owners.

We'd have liked some fruit at breakfast but apart from this the breakfast was perfect

Number 5 was excellent in so many regards! The room was exceptional and included a free standing bath in the large bathroom. The room was also the cleanest I've ever stayed in! Breakfast was delicious and hearty.

Honestly, I can't think of anything I didn't like! If I was going to be EXTREMELY fussy (which I'm not!) then the shower was a little too low for my 6'1" height, though I realise this is more to do with the low ceilings than any fault on the part of the owners - just meant a good quads workout to get under it properly!
