The view is truly phenomenal. So much so, I think you’d be hard pressed to find a hotel with such an incredible view without paying a huge amount, even then, not sure the view would compare! Location was great, super short journey to Main Street where restaurants and shops are. Staff were all absolutely lovely, very attentive and accommodating. They do a fantastic job. Breakfast was ok - simple with a few traditional options and a couple of simple bread type options. However, it felt the hotel is very, very dated and a bit shabby. Our room was basic, I’d probably describe it as a decent backpacker hotel rather than a 3 star basic hotel. The pillows inside the cases were very old and grotty/mouldy which felt really unsanitary. Bathroom in our room was a bit grim and smelt very mouldy/sewagey. We loved the staff and they made it feel so welcoming and as I mentioned, I think the view is probably unrivalled! Ok if you’re looking for something really basic for a low price point with a great view and location! We left it quite late to book and needed somewhere with availability of 5 rooms so our options were limited.

This was by far the best place I’ve ever stayed in Ella! The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming throughout my stay. Highly recommended place to stay in Ella.

We had an unforgettable stay at Hotel Ella’s Edge. Truly the best place we've ever stayed! The stunning view of Ella Gap from the hotel is absolutely mesmerizing, and watching the sunrise in the morning was a magical experience.

Fantastic friendly staff, Dinesh was very attentive. The view from the restaurant is fabulous. Rooms are very comfortable. The hotel is a short tuk tuk ride or an easy walk from the centre of town.

Very nice view close to the city. The breakfat tasty.
