The family owners were incredibly friendly and helpful before and during our stay. They really made us feel welcome and did their utmost to ensure our stay was an enjoyable one. Breakfasts were amazing and the views were incredible.

What an amazing stay. The view from the room is spectacular. Breakfast overlooking the view was very special. The accommodation is very comfortable and well equipped. The hosts go out of their way to ensure that you have the perfect stay and we did. Excellent value for money

Un peu trop rustique et vu le mauvais temps, brouillard, pluie et froid, les repas se prennent sur le balcon’ pas d’intérieur prévu à cet effet

I loved this place the minute we walked in. Imantha greeted us in his tuk tuk with a big smile. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. There was a lounge space to hang and read and a table space to enjoy the view as we ate our delicious meals. The breakfast was incredible- 15 different fruits all carefully explained to us. We had the dinner also. This is a family business. We met the whole beautiful family and Mrs Shanaka is great cook. The bathroom was brand new and everything was spotless. Yes it’s out of town but that’s why it’s so magical and Imantha will take you in to town any time.. It was a great base to explore the area. Loved it!

Von der ersten Minute an haben wir uns im Guest Inn Avendra unglaublich wohlgefühlt. Schon die Kommunikation im Vorfeld verlief reibungslos. Imantha und seine Familie sind wunderbare Gastgeber, die unseren Aufenthalt in Ella zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht haben! Das Zimmer ist stilvoll eingerichtet, makellos sauber und bietet eine traumhafte Aussicht ins Grüne. Jeden Morgen erwartete uns ein abwechslungsreiches und liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück. Ein echtes Highlight war der gemeinsame Ausflug mit Imantha: Er hat uns viele spannende Einblicke in seine Heimat gegeben! Vielen Dank für diese wundervolle Erfahrung – wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

We had to do deal with files and mosquitos sometimes, but considering you're in the mountains, we expected this. Other than that, I don't have a bad word to say about Avendra. This was probably the best hotel I stayed at ever.
