The Village Inn

A great service by John , Mum, Emma, and Jack. Really good band, Great bar, Very good food in Cafe. and brill service from shop. Shall be returning in Jan. We had a blast of a time, with lovely Irish hospitality. Will highly recommend.

Great classic rooms, just above a good old pub (that you couldn't hear from the rooms, even when there were live music). Hosts were great and very friendly.

Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr nett empfangen. Wir durften unsere Fahrräder im Haus abstellen. Die Unterkunft war sauber und im Pub konnte man für ein Getränk einkehren

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist für einen Zwischenstopp in Ordnung, es gibt einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen nebenan, wo man sich mit dem nötigsten versorgen kann. Restaurants sind fussläufig keine zu erreichen.

15 minutes from Knock Shrine. Spacious and comfortable room in a nice surroundings and clean.

Live music from downstairs was unbearable, the walls were nearly shaking. Shared toilet and shower. No food whatsoever, it is only a "B" and not a "B&B". Welcome was a little rushy. A guy tried to enter my room twice. To be used if everywhere else is booked out or when there is no music downstairs. But I won't come back.

Unfortunately, it has no charm or irish hospitality whatsoever!. The rooms weren't the cleanest, it was basic, and what I would deem as no frills. The rooms and surrounding areas are tired and outdated with zero character expected from an older property. Entrance is characterful, bathrooms are modern and clean. 2 nights out of 3 staying there were disturbed by other guests and people plastered from the pub below wandering the corridors shouting.
