Peaceful location, beatiful Nile view, wonderful hosts.

The apartment was great and in a very relaxt environment. Next to a free breakfast, they served a very nice diner and arranged an early ferry to be able to catch the first flight to Abu Simbel. The hosts thought of everything and were superb!

We loved everything, the room was clean and the bed super comfortable. The view of the nile and the desert is breathtaking. The elephantine island is very charming and the people there are so friendly.

The owners, Osama and Martha, are very nice people and try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The room was a pleasant surprise, very clean and big. The top roof gives you a beautiful view of the Nile and the tropical garden.

Breakfast wasn't made fresh, and very basic. The rooftop was a bit disappointing - there weren't comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy the view. I imagined I would sit on the terrace (or the rooftop) and watch the sunset, but it wasn't possible in February - the sun was setting behind the trees. There were some extra charges, like tax not included in the price. It was stated in the listing, so our fault by not reading properly. We traveled all over Egypt and it was the only hotel that did that. Comparing to other places, it was quite an expensive stay, and we wouldn't come back.
