Nubian Lotus

Arrived late but the host was lovely and waited up for us. Beautiful, well equipped and clean room, and the location was great. It's lovely to have a delicious breakfast with a view of the beautiful side of the Nile. Very easy to locate and just a 2 minute boat ride from the pier next to KFC. I just wish we had more than one night here!

everything is perfect

The colours are beautiful, and the room is very comfortable. Very nice view as well. If you like living in a more local place this will be perfect. If I come back to Aswan again, I will definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately the WiFi wasn’t as fast as I read from the reviews, but I guess it was just a bad day.

1) fabulous location, great view. Great place to relax with the propery facing the desert rather than facing Aswan. 2) friendly, service-orientated owners. 3) enjoyed eating a tasty Nubian breakfast on the roof and meeting other guests. 4) staying on an island with no cars on it.

1) the property has clearly been built to remain cool during an Egyptian summer. Unfortunately this means its constantly cold in January. Our stay would have been very challenging had it not been for the provision of heaters. 2) the doors didn't open easily so we didn't want to close them for fear of not being able to get out if we did close them!

The hosts were incredibly hospitable and the island was so peaceful and lovely. Our room was clean and spacious and had all we needed for a comfortable stay. We ended up leaving later than planned because we wanted to stick around. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our time at Nubian Lotus!

The owners were beyond welcoming and helpful. absolutely beautiful place with a ton of room. Great service, food, accommodations. Location was outstanding and on Elephantine Island. the owners recommended a local restaurant that was authentic food and drinks on a rooftop with an amazing view of Aswan.

This is a really special place where you can unwind and relax. Marta and Osama offer true hospitality and take great care of you. They are lovely people and wonderful to chat with when you are relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The location is on the west side of the island, away from development, with a quiet and lush view of the Nile. The rooftop is scenic, and they have great food and sweets. The room itself is very cozy and comfortable. Traveling in Egypt can be hectic sometimes, so it's nice to have a quiet and relaxing place to start and end your day. Everything here was exceptional and I wish I could have stayed longer. I will be back for sure.
