Florabells Guest House - Batanes

Most of all, I like that the owners responded on Facebook at once. So there were no worries that I come to the closed door. The room was clean and comfortable, there is a water heater. There is a kitchen, so microwave and hot water are easy to get. I'm not sure if it's allowed to cook, but in microwave - yes, it's allowed. I had free breakfast and free pick-up from the airport. Very nice. If needed, I will come again!

It's a very homey set up, as in it really is a house with comfortable and very clean bedrooms with toilet and bath, common areas like a living room, kitchen, balcony, complete with dining and cooking amenities, and spaces to hang out. Wifi can get a bit slow sometimes, but nothing bad. The staff is very friendly and responsive, and they communicate well. They are efficient. The hotel is centrally located, just a few steps away from the best places to eat in, and from the stores, markets, and motorcycle rental. You can see the main avenue and the City Hall.

I would prefer that the cookware in the kitchen be stainless steel instead of that awfully toxic and worn-out non-stick frying pan. I didn't check the bigger pots, but they look like they're of the same set, so they most likely have that terribly toxic lining.

We liked everything!

The staff are friendly and accommodating. They gave us free rides to the airport which though just near, a big help when it rains. They offer small snacks too on the common table. We feel at home.
