The host family were absolutely wonderful and generous people. They went out of their way to make sure that I was constantly fed and kept comfortable. Definitely would recommend to all my friends! Also, the location of the hostel is within the old city, so once you leave the hostel, you'll have easy access to the old Khiva city.

Extremely well-located, right next to the Kunya Ark. AC worked great, which was critical for the extremely hot weather while we were there. Breakfast is amazing—lots of different fruits, nuts, candy, types of bread etc—and served on their beautiful terrace. Receptionist (one of the daughters) speaks English and helped us print a train ticket at a neighbor’s place

Receptionist could have been friendlier. Didn’t print our registration slips since their printer wasn’t working (they sent them via WhatsApp instead) which made us nervous as foreigners since we didn’t know if we would get in trouble for not having printed registration

The location is right in the middle of everything important in Khiva. The hosts kindly cooked us a dinner at our request - much better option than the local restaurants.

Best location, nice family, very nice and super clean room.

While not stated on booking.com, we got an amazing breakfast everyday and there was airconditioning in our room! The hostel is in a great location and very nice and helpful staff! They helped us getting a taxi for a reasonable price.
