There was not anything to not like about the property. It was warm and cozy with great views and the cutest chicken friends.

Loved everything

The back blocks of North Otago are just wonderful. The schoolhouse is well preserved yet offers comfortable accommodation. Extensive walks are available on the surrounding farmland.

Everything. Beautiful setting. Delightful old building, lovingly converted. Lovely, helpful host. Don't be afraid to use the sunken outdoor baths, no matter the weather. They're a bit exposed to the farm buildings next door, but the cockies won't be looking at your cocky, they're far too busy.

Very little. Might be a touch expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Very quaint like cabin! Completely self contained. My wife and I enjoyed it very much even though it was raining when we stayed.

It was a bit too far from town to make that drive to see penguins and rocks. It was an hour drive from town.

Liked everything about the stay. Beautiful old school turned into accommodation. Very quiet, no neighbours, on a property run by the family.

Didn't quite realise how far from town it was, on some very tight country roads with no street lights. But that was part of the adventure.

The pullout bed wasn’t comfortable and created a hazard while in use.

The whole package was great. The added extra of visits from the resident chooks was pretty cool. I wished we had booked it for longer. The best we have stayed at so far on our holiday.

There was nothing I didn’t like except that I hadn’t booked for long enough.
