Staying here became one of the actual highlights of our trip to Orkney - really comfortable and enjoyable space with just the best hosting from J - not to mention a beautiful breakfast. Really loved the chatter and the helpful tips about places to go. Thanks so much and hope to come back again soon!

"Great private countryside apartment located on the other side of the hosts home."

Janice was extremely hospitable and great breakfasts for us. She recommended great local restaurants that had good seafood and were cost effective.

"Old School B & B"

Old School exclusive 5 room was more than we expected. It was absolutely beautiful. So spacious and in a great location. Janice our host was wonderful with giving us information on what to see and where to have meals. Janice also cooked amazing breakfast. Well done Janice and we certainly recommend this place to everyone travelling over to Orkney. Christine & Chris McNamara

"Fabulous, spacious studio, managed by a delightful host"

Janice is a superb host, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the area, and makes a great breakfast. Make sure you ask for her fresh fruit plate! The studio itself is spotless, spacious and well equipped. I will certainly be back when I return to Orkney.

Old School is a great B&B, and its host is engaging, helpful, and knowledgeable about the Orkneys. The location in Burray is advantageous, because Kirkwall can be overrun with people from the cruise ships. Driving around the islands is easy from the B&B. The rooms were well-decorated, the facilities charming, clean, and modern. Our breakfasts were terrific. We can't say enough good things about it, and if we make it to the Orkneys again, we will definitely stay there.
